Toor Knives Vandal | American Made Badassery

The Vandal is Toor Knives mid-size belt knife. This makes it multi-functional. Its as comfortable carrying concealed IWB as it is sitting on my battle belt or plate carrier ready for some guaranteed contact with the enemy.

It’s more or less a slightly larger version of the Toor Viper, but with some better ergonomics. I prefer knife handles that conform to the human hand. The Vandal does that in spades with either a standard or reverse grip.

The thumb jimping for a standard grip is aggressive without biting into your skin. The “tactical” ring really aids in retention in a reverse grip and is beveled so it won’t bite into your skin either.

The cocobolo grips are the same, aggressive enough to be held securely with wet or bloody hands, yet dehorned enough to not be uncomfortable. The steel is CPM 154 which excels at both corrosion resistance and edge longevity.

But what sets Toor apart is the ease with which you can have your knife customized. An image engraving is only 65 dollars.

My knife was a gift from a JTAC I used to be in a unit with and he was able to get my pretty detailed unit patch image put on there. That’s a pretty low price for the level of detail the engravings can get into if you ask me.

Plus, it’s always nice to have personalized gear. You’ll like it more, use it more, and respect it more.

At $375 MSRP, the Vandal is not a cheap knife. But if you’re pulling a knife to live or die by… it better be quality. And you generally have to pay for quality. Toor Knives is a brand you can bet your life on.

Designed to fill the role as a midsize tactical knife that can be worn on a tactical gear belt comfortably. We wanted something not too big but also tactical (ring) so that the operator could have a molle belt specific knife. The Ring is beveled at a 45 degree angle to ensure operator comfort when handling. Although designed for a battle belt, this blade can easily be moved up to a plate carrier or be worn as an everyday carry defense tool. It is finished with a raw Acid Etch look while still maintaining the protection of Cerakote Elite. Every single Vandal is individually serialized.
