Endure | Sitka’s Newest Multi-Season Pant

February 22, 2026 by Timothy Gauthier Leave a Comment

Where I hunt, the fall weather tends to go from sunny high fifties to low thirties, with rain or snow. To mitigate the changing weather, having a pair of solid pants is helpful for a good hunt. When Sitka offered to send me their new Endure Pants, I gladly agreed to try them out.

Endure Pant Overview

Starting at the Endure’s waist, there are 1.5” belt loops that are compatible with suspenders. Below the belt loops are zippered hand pockets, handy for keeping my wallet secure while climbing through brush. On the right side, next to the pocket, is a dedicated knife pocket. Additionally, on both sides, Sitka has zippered hip vents to help dump heat while moving.

On either side of the pants are zippered cargo pockets. A feature I liked about the cargo pockets is the internal pocket in the Endure’s right pocket. This pocket is big enough to hold my phone, so it does not flop around as I move. Lastly, there are internal knee pad pockets for kneeling on rocky terrain.

Endure Performance

I have had the opportunity to try the Endure pants as hunting pants this past fall and as hiking pants in the winter. During the hunting trip, I did a variety of stalks and sat in a blind. At the same time, while stalking the pants held up with my going through dense brush. I also appreciated the side vents, which I could open while moving to prevent overheating. During periods spent in the blind, I would keep the side vents zipped to retain heat. The pants do have some thickness to retain some heat. However, it helps to have additional layers underneath during colder hunts.

While hiking, the pants held up as I went through some brush and climbed over rocks. The internal pocket helped to keep my wallet from causing any discomfort to my leg. I also appreciated the zippered hand pockets for keeping my keys secure. Again, the side vents helped dump extra heat while I was on the move. The fit of the pants was a good balance between snug and not constricting, allowing me to move around fallen logs or large rocks.

Final Thoughts

The Endure pants are a solid pair for hunting, fishing, hiking, and even rock climbing. The one thing I would change about the pants is to make the belt loops larger. I prefer to have belt loops that can hold 1.75” belts for when I am in the outdoors. But I do like the fit and durability of the pants. If you are looking for a multi-season pair of pants, look at Sitka’s Endure pants.
