The Pecos Table | Pecos Bill Would Brag About This Table

May 8, 2026 by Timothy Gauthier Leave a Comment

Having a durable table that breaks down is useful in many contexts. Over the past several years, I have been upping my meat-smoking game. I have lost count of how many times I have kicked myself for not having a nearby table to hold the food and supplies. But I have never found a sturdy table that withstands the elements while still breaking down into a compact form. Over the past several months, I have seen the Pecos Table pop up in my feeds, so I was curious about it and how it would perform. When Pecos Outdoor reached out to us at The Gear Bunker, I gladly accepted the opportunity to try out the table.

Pecos Table Overview

Starting with the dimensions of the workstation, the Pecos Table is 38” long, 20” wide, and 34” high. The legs can extend 1 ½” inches to level the table. To improve its stability, Pecos added orbital feet at the end of its legs. The table’s frame and legs are made of aircraft-grade aluminum, giving it a weight-bearing capacity of 3,200 lbs. This weight capacity ensures that butchering an animal is not an issue. The tabletop is made from FDA-approved HDPE rotomolded plastic for food safety. Around the workstation is a blood ridge for draining liquids and as mounting points for the various attachments Pecos provides.

To transport the table, the legs are stored in the table’s underside between the two bridges. To install the leg, insert the bolt into the socket. Give the legs a quarter turn, and then the table is ready for use. The Pecos Table’s underside has an integrated handle for carrying the workstation. On the bridges, there are rubber stops to keep the table from sliding around in the bed of my truck. The table weighs 28 lbs., so it is manageable to move without feeling like I am in a gym session.

Performance of the Pecos

The Pecos Table is very versatile, allowing me to use it in different situations. It even comes in handy for house parties as a drink table when you need an extra serving table. In my case, the table saved the day when my wife and I needed an extra serving surface for a large house party. To class it up, my wife threw a fancy tablecloth over the tabletop.

Besides house parties, the Pecos Table is great to have for outdoor cookouts. The table is easy to transport and quick to set up, so I could spend more time preparing the grill. The adjustable feet help to balance and secure the station on uneven ground. Accessories like the Paper Towel Holder or the Trash Bag ring made it so much easier to prepare burgers than to switch to serving food.
