Hillsound BTR 14” Folding Camp Stool | Better Than a Rock

August 15, 2022 by Art Dorst Leave a Comment

Hillsound BTR

Lightweight and packable, the Hillsound BTR Stool is definitely Better Than a Rock.

I’ve used folding stools previously when attending training or working in situations that required me to be on my feet for long hours. With limited places to sit other than the ground, a nice packable stool can be a lifesaver. The one drawback to the stools I’ve used in the past is their size. They were too long and a little heavy for bringing in my carryon bag or some of the smaller checked bags that I use. When I removed the BTR 14” stool out of the box I immediately noticed the small footprint it had. Weighing in at 12.6 ounces with a length of 12” collapsed, and 18” with the legs extended. The seat is a sturdy mesh material that is rated to support up to 240 lbs.

Final Thoughts:

I like this stool a lot I can see it having endless possibilities due to the light weight and small size. This will be a standard part of my carry on load out for travel. Other than having a delayed flight and not being able to find a spot to charge your phone the next worst thing is not being able to find a place to sit. Just pull the BTR stool out of your carry-on and a phone charger and you’re good to go. For work, training, camping, and traveling the BTR 14″ Stool gives you a place to sit off the ground while taking up minimal space or weight in your bag.
