XS Sights Launches Adjustable S&W Revolver Sights

If you’re running a Smith & Wesson revolver and still using factory irons, it might be time for an upgrade. XS Sights has just introduced a new line of pinned front sights and adjustable rear sight sets compatible with K, L, and N frame revolvers—including popular models like the 686, 625, and 329.

These new options include their signature DXW2 Big Dot and Standard Dot sight systems, now paired with windage-adjustable white stripe express rear sights. Shooters can choose front sights in green, orange, or white, depending on preference and application. XS also offers a Minimalist rear notch variant for those who prefer a more traditional, blacked-out rear.

“Revolvers are enjoying a strong resurgence thanks to their simplicity, reliability, and nostalgic appeal,” said Jeff King, Marketing Manager at XS Sights. “Whether for personal defense, trail carry, or backup bear protection, upgrading to XS sights gives shooters faster target acquisition and greater accuracy.”

Designed for K, L, and N Frame S&W Revolvers

XS’s new revolver sight lineup is designed to fit Smith & Wesson models featuring pinned front sights and adjustable rear sights. That includes a long list of workhorse revolvers like:

  • Model 686
  • Model 625
  • Model 329
  • Model 629
  • Model 19 / 66 (K-frame classics)

These rugged, high-visibility sights make a meaningful difference whether you’re running drills at the range, hiking in bear country, or relying on your revolver for home defense.

XS Sights Smith & Wesson Revolver Sight Options

XS now offers three upgraded sight systems, all designed to fit S&W K, L, and N frame revolvers with pinned front sights and adjustable rears:

DXW2 Big Dot

Features an oversized front sight available in green, orange, or white paired with a windage-adjustable white stripe rear. Ideal for rapid target acquisition in low-light conditions.

Standard Dot

A slightly smaller front dot than the Big Dot, also available in green, orange, or white, combined with the same express-style rear sight. Great for shooters who want precision with speed.

Minimalist

A blacked-out rear notch with anti-glare serrations for a clean, no-nonsense sight picture. Pairs with the same color options for the front sight (green, orange, or white). Perfect for shooters who prefer a more traditional rear.

All three options retail for $137.99 and come pre-drilled with a pinned front and a windage-adjustable rear, making installation simple and consistent.

Final Thoughts

Whether you’re hunting, hiking, or simply seeking faster sight alignment on your classic wheelgun, XS Sights offers an easy-to-install upgrade that enhances performance without compromising ruggedness. With a Limited Lifetime Warranty and a 12-year tritium guarantee, these sights are built to last.
