A Closer Look at the WATCHTOWER Defense RAIDER15 Rifles

WATCHTOWER Defense will showcase two RAIDER15 rifle variants at the 2026 SHOT Show, taking place January 20–23 in Las Vegas.

Attendees can see both the Standard Issue RAIDER15 and the Special Duty RAIDER15 at booth #7226 in Caesars Pavilion.

Both rifles are chambered in 5.56 NATO and built as duty-capable AR-platform carbines.

RAIDER15 Standard Issue

The Standard Issue RAIDER15 is positioned as a general-purpose rifle for range use, training, and defensive applications. It features a 16-inch nitrided 4150 CMV barrel with a 1:8 twist, a direct impingement operating system, and an ALG Defense Advanced Combat Trigger. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the charging handle and safety.

Additional features include:

  • 7075-T6 STANAG M-LOK handguard with QD mounting points
  • Front and rear Magpul MBUS 3 sights (pre-installed)
  • 1/2×28 A2 flash hider
  • One 30-round magazine
  • Does not include the optics

The Standard Issue model is offered in black or FDE and carries an MSRP of $1,299.

RAIDER15 Special Duty

The Special Duty RAIDER15 is configured as a suppressor-ready platform intended for law enforcement, professional users, and defensive roles. It is equipped with a 16-inch chrome-lined 416 stainless steel barrel with a 1:8 twist for extended service life and accuracy, along with a Geissele non-adjustable combat trigger.

Key features include:

  • Direct impingement operating system
  • Fully ambidextrous controls
  • 7075-T6 STANAG M-LOK handguard with QD points
  • Front and rear Magpul MBUS 3 sights (pre-installed)
  • 1/2×28 Dead Air KeyMo flash hider
  • One 30-round magazine
  • Does not include optics

Finish options include black, OD green, and FDE. The Special Duty RAIDER15 has an MSRP of $1,899.

According to WATCHTOWER Defense, the RAIDER15 line was developed to meet the demands of shooters who expect reliability, accuracy, and adaptability from a modern AR-platform rifle. Both models are designed to accept standard accessories via the Picatinny top rail and M-LOK mounting system, allowing users to configure the rifles for specific mission sets or personal preferences.

The RAIDER15 name references the Marine Raider legacy, with WATCHTOWER positioning the rifle series as a modern, duty-ready platform built with an emphasis on durability, consistency, and American manufacturing.
