Ultimate organization | Yeti LoadOut GoBox 30 Gear Case

Benjamin Franklin once said, “a place for everything and everything in its place.” It’s a motto we use within our family while boating or camping. Overland travel is no different. Organization is something I’m always working on. And our camp kitchen always seemed to be without a perfect solution. Until recently. Yeti just introduced a new product that so far has been a fantastic solution for our needs. The Yeti LoadOut GoBox 30.

Although there are endless uses for the GoBox 30 Gear Case, we found it to be the perfect solution for our kitchen supplies. Pots & pans, plates, silverware, condiments, spices, cleaning supplies, lights, fuel, bug repellent and a few additional loose items all fit in this new box. The main compartment has a 50/50 divider that can be removed and used as a cutting board. Additionally, a three section removable Caddy is perfect for organizing smaller items. Inside the lid is a Pack Attic. This zippered nylon cavity is where we store plates and a larger cutting board. Two mesh zippered pouches round out the Pack Attic for storing smaller items.

The GoBox 30 is not one of Yeti’s typical coolers, although it looks the part. This uninsulated box, however, remains water proof and dust proof once the burly latches are secured. Keeping the environment out of your valuables or sensitive gear. A recent 10 vehicle trip with Michigan Overland on some of our dustiest trails put the LoadOut GoBox 30 Gear Case to the test. There was no safe haven in any of the vehicles from the relentless dust. Once we made camp, I was pleased to find my cooking supplies made the journey free from any contaminants. Others weren’t so lucky.

The LoadOut GoBox 30 is made from a nearly indestructible Defender Material. Like all Yeti products, the GoBox continues their over-engineered theme. It can easily withstand whatever you throw at it and is perfectly comfortable in both hot and cold environments. Featuring non slip feet, the GoBox will end up right where you left it in the bed of your truck. No more unruly totes sliding to the front of the bed once you apply the brakes. So far, the Yeti LoadOut GoBox 30 has served us well. I really like knowing that all of our kitchen and cooking supplies are safe and dry. And organized in a single box. Once we find our spot for the night, we set up a cooking table and the GoBox and stove are the first two items out of the truck. My wife sets up the kitchen and I deploy the roof top tent. Making for an efficient and organized set-up. Cleaning up and breaking down camp is made easier as well.
