Tomcat Glasses: 5.11 Tactical 12 Days of Christmas

December 22, 2019 by Travis Pike Leave a Comment

I already used the talk to me Goose joke, but I wished I saved it. The Tomcat glasses by 5.11 are a true aviator design and are a little more affordable than the Costa’s I reviewed previously. The 5.11 Tomcat glasses are a well made and dare I say, beefy aviator. They have some heft to them, but not in a bad way.

The arms are durable and thick the portions that rest on the ear are covered with a comfortable hard plastic. The plastic is rounded off and edge free. this means nothing is digging into your head as you wear them. They are consistently comfortable and perfect for day-long wear.

The black oxide color means you can wear them with anything at any time and still be fashionable. Aviators are also a universal tyle. Who doesn’t like aviators? They fit everyone, man or woman. They look good in both casual and formal wear and can be worn on a run and to a wedding and not be out of place.

Even guys like me with heads too big to be as empty as they are can appreciate the Tomcat glasses. They not only look good on my big head, but they fit comfortably. The Tomcat glasses are polarized and provide UVA/UVB protection. On top of that, we also have a scratch and oil resistant coating on these glasses that delivers an excellent level of protection.

The view through the glasses is high definition and crystal clear. They provide an excellent level of sun resistance and they are plenty comfortable on the brightest of Florida days. The 5.11 Tomcat glasses are well made, simple and plenty fashionable.
