The Solo First Aid Kit from My Medic

December 8, 2022 by Erik Meisner Leave a Comment

Assembled by experts in the medical and outdoor fields, the Solo First Aid Kit from My Medic is an essential piece of kit.

Sized perfectly for individual use, The Solo FAK easily fits into a cargo pocket, carry-on luggage, belt or backpack. Intended for individual use, the Solo FAK is loaded with the supplies you need for bleeding, burns or to save a life. High quality construction throughout and several small design details make this kit stand above the rest. Accessing medical supplies is paramount so My Medic used a high quality anti-snag zipper with a two finger pull tab for ease of grip. Once opened, the Solo FAK lays flat allowing easy access to the organized contents.

The two halves of the kit keep essential supplies organized and easily assessable. Elastic loops keep tools secure and visible on top of the left half. Inside the left half are the critical life saving items of the Advanced Kit. Tourniquet, Chest Seal, Hemostatic Dressing and gloves. The opposing half contains more Basic items to treat non critical injuries. Like bandages, 550 cord, saline along with several medications and lotions.

My Medic Solo First Aid Kit Overview:

The First Aid Supplies are selected based on injury data we have exclusive access to. You will have what you need, when you need it, to care for up to 99% of expected injuries that happen when you’re out there. ~mymedic.com

  • Contains over 45 quality, essential first-aid supplies.
  • HSA/FSA approved.
  • TSA Approved
  • Basic Kit $50
  • Advanced Kit $100

Final Thoughts:

My Medic is one of the premier medical suppliers in the US. All kits are made in the USA and carry a lifetime guarantee. The Solo First Aid Kit comes in 2 configurations. Basic and Advanced. Priced at $50 and $100 respectively. The end user should consider their level of training before deciding which kit to purchase. However, keep in mind that the items exclusive to the advanced kit could be used by someone more qualified on the scene. So my recommendation would be to go for the Advanced kit as it’s better to have and not need, than to need and not have.

Loss of a Loved One: My Medic Story

“Not all beginnings start with happiness. A tragic accident that took the life of a family member was the motivation that started MyMedic. Several years ago a normal day turned dark after a car accident occurred. Bystanders without First Aid equipment or training watched for 40 minutes as a family member of ours bled to death. That’s how long it took EMS services to arrive on scene due to the remote location the accident had taken place. Help is further than you may think. As a family we came together and started MyMedic with one objective in mind, to save lives. Our goal is to prepare everyone with equipment and training for the unexpected emergency.”

We discovered that most people are not prepared for emergencies. It’s an unfortunate reality. Life can be gone in an instant, but if you had the power to prevent a loss, you would take it in a heartbeat. Whether you’re driving to and from work, enjoying the great outdoors, or staying home, the solution is peace-of-mind knowing that you have instant access to a MyMedic First Aid Kit.” ~mymedic.com
