TALON Grips Announces its 10th Anniversary

September 3, 2019 by Erik Meisner Leave a Comment

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colorado (August 6th, 2019) – TALON Grips was born out of necessity to fix an area of shooting that cannot be perfected through practice- a slippery grip. The result is a custom stick-on grip costing less than $20 that will benefit every shooter.

Users of TALON Grips benefit from improved control, comfort, and precision which increases safety, confidence, and enjoyment while shooting.

10 Year Anniversary of TALON Grips

In the first half of 2009 the first TALON Grip was made for a duty issued Glock 21 using an Exacto knife and a sheet of skateboard grip tape. “Everyone who got their hands on it wanted one,” Mike Morris, President of TALON Grips, recalled. Shortly after that, the first grip was sold on eBay and a business was born.

Over the past 10 years TALON Grips has had many well-known users. One of the most famous is Hickok45 who first mentioned TALON grips in July 2009 in a video of him shooting a gong at 230 yards with a Glock 27. The relationship between TALON Grips and Hickok45 is stronger than ever with TALON Grips now sponsoring the Hickok45 YouTube channel.

The grip designs and manufacturing technologies have evolved but the company’s founding philosophy and core values have remained the same. Foremost is a customer first philosophy that TALON Grips customers notice.

“From hours spent discussing a new product idea to a company that makes over 300 different grips, TALON Grips has been a great ride and continuation of the legacy of its founder. I am truly humbled to be part of such a great experience, ” said Morris.

Today, TALON Grips have become the go-to accessory for millions of shooters including law enforcement officers, military professionals, competitive shooters, and people that care about safety.
