Rossmönster announces new Overland line with The Baja, their inaugural Truck Bed Camper

Rossmönster is excited to announce the launch of The Baja, Rossmönster Overland’s inaugural truck camper model.

The Baja is the ultimate off-road and off-grid vehicle. Built on half, three quarter and one ton chassis, these vehicles can go where other adventure rigs can’t. The Baja is engineered to be lighter and more compact than other expedition vehicles without compromising on aesthetic, convenience and comfort. The result, Rossmönster’s most advanced luxury camping and overland adventure vehicle to date.

Founded in 2010, Rossmönster began its presence in the camper rig industry with custom vans.

It was only a matter of time before the development team at Rossmönster wanted to create a vehicle that surpassed other adventure rig’s capabilities, yet still provided high quality design, engineering and craftsmanship to the new wave of truck bed campers. The goal was to create a vehicle with ultimate off-grid and off-road capability, that was compact enough to get to places others can’t, and still house an interior that highlights Rossmönster’s dedication to craftsmanship and design.

“We know that many people, including ourselves, prefer to adventure in hard-to-reach places where getting there is part of the experience. As such, we wanted to build a vehicle with the same craftsmanship and dedication to design that we’ve been employing in our van builds for years, but with a bit more capability to explore where others can.” Says Ross Williamson, owner of Rossmönster Vans and mastermind behind the The Baja

The Baja has an introductory base price of $175k (price varies due to upgrades and based upon desired vehicle trim package and truck model).

The Baja is currently available on F150, F250, Ram 2500 and Chevy or GMC 2500 truck models (2019 or newer) with 6.5 ft beds allowing clients to choose the base vehicle that’s right for them. Rossmönster will work directly with clients to source the vehicle and ensure they end up with the right size, color and trim package for their needs.

A bit about Rossmönster:

Rossmönster Vans started as a group of custom woodworkers, engineers and electricians with a passion for the outdoors who build custom vans out of their shop in Longmont, Colorado. Their builds are driven by a commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and providing custom solutions for each of their clients. In an effort to more broadly share their products with the world, Rossmönster Vans officially launched Rossmönster Rentals in 2019, which also runs out of their shop in Longmont. This year, Rossmonster is announcing the launch of Rossmonster Overland, and the brand’s first truck camper model, The Baja. At our core, we’re a group of friends and outdoor enthusiasts with a passion for craftsmanship, on a pursuit to get more people outside, more often.
