PHOOZY Drink Capsule Can Cooler | A Spacesuit for your Beer

May 30, 2024 by Erik Meisner Leave a Comment

Have you ever been satisfied with the typical beer koozie? Flimsy, underperforming neoprene  and usually with some tacky phrase stenciled on the side. Like, “It’s 5 o’clock somewhere”, or “Save water, drink beer”, or even “Let’s get ready to stumble”. The bottom line is they “need” a catch phrase to sell their crappy product. Not the case with the newest offering from Phoozy. The Drink Capsule is a state of the art Can Cooler designed to do one thing. Keep your frosty beverage cold as long as possible.

Phoozy Drink Capsule Overview:

Similar to the previously reviewed Tablet Case and Phone Case, the Drink Capsule uses a space suit type insulation layer to help fend off heat and cold transfer. Keeping your beverage up to 10 times cooler than those flimsy neoprene coolers. Phoozy even went the extra mile and added an elastic hand strap to keep your drink from slipping from your grip. Due to the buoyant nature of the Drink Capsule’s insulation layer, your can will float should it end up in the lake for some reason.

On the bottom of the Drink Capsule, you’l find the “No touch bottom”. These suspenders keep the bottom of your can from touching hot surfaces. A main contributor of heat transfer to the can. Additionally, Phoozy offers their Can Cooler in three standard sizes; 12 ounce cans, 12 ounce skinny cans and 16 ounce tall cans. Along with 6 different colors to choose from. Enough choices to satisfy most drinking parties.

Final Thoughts:

I’ve been using the Phoozy Drink Capsule for most of the summer and love it so far. Weighing only 2 ounces, it packs down nicely when not in use. Unlike the rigid stainless steel units from other manufacturers. I’ve been a fan of the products Phoozy has been putting out and the Drink Capsule is just another winner in my book. Currently priced at $14.99 each or a six-pack of coolers for $75. Mix and match sizes and colors for the whole family. Also makes a great gift idea.
