OLIGHT Olantern Music Led Lantern Light with Stereo

November 4, 2023 by Art Dorst Leave a Comment

A little over a year ago, Olight sent me a Classic style lantern to review. And we’ve been using it ever since in our camper and out in the yard. It works great, and we’ve really enjoyed this addition. Recently I got my hands on the new and improved OLIGHT OLantern Music LED Lantern. Featuring Bluetooth technology and speakers to enjoy music or podcasts while utilizing the lamp outdoors (or indoors). This combined capability eliminates the need for two devices.

Olantern Music LED Lantern Video Overview:

The following are a few of the features from the OLIGHT website:

OLantern’s LED will run for 110 hours on the low setting and 11 hours on high. And music will play for up to 34 hours. You can run multiple lanterns in tandem for music up to one thousand units. The lighting capability can also be run in tandem with two units. Maximum brightness is 300 lumens. There are two light settings White and Warm light. The White light on high 300 – 150 lumens will stay lit for 20-60 minutes, and at 130 lumens for up to 17 hours. The Warm light will stay lit for 13 hours at 130 lumens, and 110 hours at 10 lumens. You can also use the lantern to recharge portable devices from the battery.

I’ve been using the OLantern LED Music for about three weeks now and have had music playing for hours. All while using the lamp feature and it hasn’t let me down. Honestly, I haven’t had to charge it yet. Just synchronize the Bluetooth to your phone or any Bluetooth compatible device and you’re in business. I really like this new lantern. It’s great for the bedside, camper or any outdoor activities. It’s even resistant to accidental exposure to water. Another interesting feature is that the light feature can be run coordinated with the music. Causing the light to brighten and dim with the music. It’s a fun feature. All the controls are located on the top of the lantern to include the light, Bluetooth, volume, music play, interconnection, power indicator ring (Red or green depending on power level), and lamp brightness. Everything can be controlled from your phone too so you don’t have to get up to change settings.

Final Thoughts:

I’m really enjoying the Olanterns quality and fit/finish. It has the high quality I’ve come to expect from OLIGHT. Plus, the sound quality is amazing. I’ve been using the OLIGHT music lantern in the house, camper, and outside and love it. I’m considering getting a second one so that I can run them in tandem inside and out. MSRP is $129.99
