For years, The Gear Bunker has been using and testing various products from Midland Radio. Their products have held up and performed flawlessly in some pretty tough environments. With Micromobile units mounted in our Toyota Tundra, FJ Cruiser and Jeep, we were really excited to receive the latest and most powerful unit to date. The MXT500. 2022 is slated to be a busy travel year for The Gear Bunker. With trips to FJ Summit in July, Overland Expo MTN West in August followed by a 2 week trip through Colorado and Utah with friends, a 1 week trip to SW Utah with 4Xploring and finally the infamous Red Clay Rally in October, both FJ and MXT500 will be thoroughly tested. About Erik Meisner

Erik Meisner served in Attack Company, 2nd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment as a rifle team leader with deployments to the Middle East, Central America and Asia. He's a licensed pilot, SCUBA diver and enjoys Alpine skiing, travel, sea kayaking, Overland exploration and golf. Growing up in a military family, Erik had the pleasure to live and ski all over North America and Europe.
