The Magpul Explorer is Magpul’s most casual design, incorporating high-performance features for those times when you want both protection and style in your life. With the addition of the gray and silver lens and mirror combination, you get a modern style with UV light and glare protection.
Explorer Features
- Constructed of TR90NZZ, the frames combine lightweight construction and ballistic protection, providing rugged strength and flexibility
- Though not rated to Z87.1 due to the wrap and shape of the Explorer, the lens and frames were engineered to the Z87.1 ballistic impact protection standards
- Oleophobic lenses repel water and provide oil, sweat, sunscreen, and other chemical protection
- Coated stainless steel pins provide simple but dependable hinge functionality
- Anti-slip rubber nose and temple pads
- Polarized lenses remove glare from hard, reflective surfaces, while mirrored lenses reduce glare from water, metal and other hard surfaces. Mirrored lens sunglasses also have a coating that’s more resistant to wear.
