Hornady Security Lock Boxes for Guns & Valuables

When it comes to responsible firearm ownership, proper storage is non-negotiable. Hornady Security® has long been a leader in providing gun owners with peace of mind, and their lineup of Lock Boxes is designed to deliver just that.

Whether you’re at home, on the road, or flying with your firearms, Hornady’s heavy-duty security boxes provide unmatched strength and functionality.

These lock boxes are built from some of the toughest materials available, with features that meet or exceed TSA and California DOJ safety standards. With multiple sizes and configurations, there’s a Hornady Lock Box to fit nearly every storage need.

TrekLite® Lock Box XXL

Lightweight doesn’t mean weak. The TrekLite® Lock Box XXL is constructed from advanced, impact-resistant polycarbonate to handle serious abuse while remaining portable.

TrekLite® Lock Box XXL

  • Dual 4-digit TSA-approved combination lock with 10,000 user-programmable codes
  • Fits up to two full-sized 1911 handguns or 8.5 x 11” documents
  • Non-slip rubber over-mold for added protection and stability
  • Includes a 1,500 lb. rated steel security cable with a patented connector to maximize internal storage space

Perfect for travel, the TrekLite® is designed to secure firearms, ammo, and other valuables without adding unnecessary bulk.

Alpha Elite™ Lock Box

If you want the most rugged lock box Hornady offers, the Alpha Elite™ is the one to beat. Its 16-gauge steel housing, pry-resistant security band, and dual crossbar latch mechanism make it one of the most tamper-resistant options on the market.

Alpha Elite™ Lock Box

  • Tamper-proof design with premium barrel key lock
  • 3-foot, 1,500 lb. rated steel cable
  • Meets TSA airline guidelines and exceeds ASTM International and CA DOJ safety standards
  • Foam interior protects handguns and valuables from scratches and impact

This is a serious security upgrade for anyone needing a compact but virtually impenetrable handgun lock box.

Lock Box XL

Hornady’s Lock Box XL is all about versatility. Whether it’s on your nightstand, in the car, or traveling in checked luggage, this lock box provides dependable storage for handguns and other valuables.

Lock Box XL

  • Steel barrel lock with two included keys
  • Heavy-duty 16-gauge steel housing with premium foam interior
  • 4-foot steel cable rated for 1,500 lbs.
  • Patented cable receiver saves interior storage space

This is the go-to option for those who want a balance of size, security, and portability.

Dual-Lid Lock Box

Need to keep two guns secure—or separate your ammo from your firearm? The Dual-Lid Lock Box delivers with two individual compartments, each with its own keyed-alike lock.

Dual-Lid Lock Box

  • Durable 16-gauge steel housing
  • Two separate lids and locks
  • Space-saving cable receiver and 1,500 lb. rated steel cable
  • Foldable carry handle for easy transport

This dual-purpose design makes it ideal for the range, road trips, or any situation where separating gear is essential.
