Glock Armorers Course Maintenance Kit

February 2, 2020 by Guest Writer Leave a Comment

Recently, I had the opportunity to take a Glock Armorer’s Course. BLUF – this course exceeded expectations and made me appreciate the Glock brand even more. After the course, I ordered some parts and tools and I wanted to share what I put together.

Glock Armorer’s Course

After reviewing the manuals and parts list supplied in the Glock Armorer’s Course, I decided to get various parts to keep in my kit when conducting training. As part of our 9 Day Executive Protection Training Program, we provide a Protective Firearms & Defensive Tactics training course. This course is focused on pistol skills for the modern protector. As well as a defensive tactics program specifically developed for the protection industry. And taught by instructors with 4+ black belts in various martial arts disciplines.

For the firearms portion, we provide loaner firearms (Glock 19s) and holster from Bravo Concealment for student use as we have students coming from around the world. With 10+ pistols, I figured it was a good idea to have the know-how and the tools/kit to keep these guns going.

For a parts kit, I ordered Glock tools (disassembly tool and front sight tool), Gen 3 & Gen 4 recoil spring assembly, as well as frame parts kits and slide parts kits from Midway USA. Coincidentally, they all fit into a Johnson & Johnson travel first aid box I had lying around.
