ForgeLine Fieldwear Expands Performance Collection for Fall 2026

ForgeLine expands its Performance Fieldwear system with new insulated outerwear and merino baselayers for colder weather and changing conditions.

Carpinteria, CA — ForgeLine Fieldwear™, makers of rugged, field-ready apparel, is expanding its Performance Fieldwear collection with new additions to its Utility Series.

Building on the success of the Spring debut, this Fall expansion introduces insulated outerwear and next-to-skin merino baselayers designed to extend the brand’s layering system into colder weather.

New for Fall 2026, the collection includes the Chief Peak Waxed Down Jacket and the PrimaLoft® Gold–insulated Zaca Ridge Insulated Utility Jacket, both available for men and women, along with an expanded next-to-skin merino wool baselayer system featuring a long-sleeve top for men and women and a men’s bottom. Each piece is engineered to work together, providing warmth and weather protection without limiting mobility as temperatures and workloads shift.

Zaca Ridge

Designed as the ideal midweight layer for changing conditions, the Zaca Ridge Insulated Utility Jacket bridges the gap between shirt and jacket. It’s built with performance ultra-dry-waxed cotton to shrug off wind and light rain. Low-profile PrimaLoft® Gold recycled insulation (60g body, 40g collar & sleeves) adds real warmth without extra bulk, while a drop-tail hem stays in place while moving, crouching, or seated.

Durable, repairable snap hardware throughout means this jacket is built to be worn hard and fixed, not replaced. This jacket wears like a shirt, works like a jacket, and doesn’t require a conversation about which one it is.

Every layering system starts with the right foundation. Expanding for Fall, the Cozy Dell Merino collection adds new long-sleeve tops and bottoms designed to regulate temperature, manage moisture, and deliver next-to-skin comfort through changing conditions.

A blend of merino and recycled fibers manages moisture, regulates heat, and resists odor, enabling performance across activities. Soft against the skin, durable where it counts, and quick to dry when the tasks ramp up. This line handles the cold so you can focus on everything else.

Chief Peak Jacket

When temperatures drop and weather becomes unpredictable, the Chief Peak Jacket delivers dependable insulation without sacrificing ruggedness or mobility. A durable cotton ripstop shell with a downproof, performance ultra dry-waxed finish keeps wind and weather out, reinforced with hexagonal ripstop at the shoulders and hood for added durability.

Baffled construction holds a 650-fill duck down in place, delivering proven warmth without excess weight, while an adjustable hood and hem seal out cold as conditions shift. A soft tricot chin guard adds extra comfort where it counts. The result is a clean, functional design that promotes true comfort in the cold.

Built as a System

As mentioned earlier, ForgeLine designed these items to work together in building a system for colder weather. The Cozy Dell top and bottom provide wearers with a layer that dries quickly and wicks moisture to maintain body heat. On top of the Cozy Dell, the Zaca Ridge serves as an additional or outer layer, with ultra-dry-waxed cotton and insulation for moving on the trail. Once the adventurer has stopped for a long time, he can break out the Chief Peak to maintain body heat as temperatures drop.
