ALPS OutdoorZ Refuge Duffel: Built to Withstand Any Adventure

October 6, 2025 by Scott Witner Leave a Comment

ALPS OutdoorZ Refuge Duffel

When it comes to outdoor gear, durability isn’t optional—it’s mandatory. That’s why ALPS OutdoorZ, the brand synonymous with rugged performance and thoughtful design, just introduced their newest workhorse: the Refuge Duffel.

Engineered for hunters, travelers, and adventurers who demand more from their gear, the Refuge Duffel delivers exceptional weather resistance, durability, and practicality—without the inflated price tag often seen in the premium duffel market.

Built Tough for the Long Haul

Whether you’re traveling across the country or venturing deep into the backcountry, the Refuge Duffel was designed to endure it all. Constructed from ultra-tough 500D PVC, this bag shrugs off abrasions, punctures, and harsh weather conditions with ease.

Oversized zippers, reinforced grab handles, and removable contoured shoulder straps make transport effortless. The U-shaped main compartment offers full access to your gear, while collapsible end pockets provide perfect storage for boots, clothes, or bulky items.

From the Alaskan Brooks Range to a weekend campsite with family, this duffel keeps your equipment dry, organized, and protected from the elements.

Designed with Real-World Functionality in Mind

The Refuge Duffel doesn’t just look tough—it’s built to work hard. Key features include:

  • 500D PVC shell for superior weather and abrasion resistance
  • Oversized heavy-duty zippers built to last
  • Removable contoured shoulder straps for comfortable carry
  • Reinforced grab handles for rugged handling
  • U-shaped main opening for fast access
  • Collapsible end pockets ideal for boots or wet gear
  • Available in three sizes: 40L, 75L, and 110L
  • Color options: Tan and Olive

These features make the Refuge equally at home in the field, the airport, or the back of your pickup.
