5.11 Mission Ready Oxford Shoes | Built for the Urban Mission

5.11 Mission Ready Oxford Shoes | Built for the Urban Mission

Whether protecting a client, watching over a venue, or working to keep a crowd safe, the Mission Ready Oxford shoes help you stay focused and ready.

Built for those that need a business casual/dress shoe capable of moving in a dynamic environment. The comfort level of these shoes is outstanding. There is no break-in period with these shoes either, so you can hit the ground running with them. I would even go as far as to say you could actually run in these without any discomfort if the situation presented itself. Just as with the Defender Flex line of jeans and pants, the Mission Ready Oxford Shoes are capable of moving in a dynamic environment. If you’re an urban commuter these shoes are a huge win due to their comfort, durability, and ability to adapt to all weather conditions.

Two things stood out to me from the get-go with these shoes. The first was the comfort level as mentioned above. I’ve worn several other brands of urban/business casual shoes over the years and none have come close to the comfort level that the Mission Ready Oxfords provide. 5.11 opted for the OrthoLite X25 molded foam insole for better cushioning, shock absorption and comfort when designing this shoe.

The second has to do with the outsole and the shoe’s ability to maintain traction and grip on any surface. This is all thanks to the Vibram Overland high traction outsole with XS Trek.

I’ve been wearing the Mission Ready Oxford shoes for several months now as my primary commuting/work shoe during the week. They blend seamlessly into urban environments due to their low key appearance and color. Whether you’re in the executive protection industry or just want a reliable comfortable pair of shoes for your daily commute into work, I’d take a hard look at the Mission Ready Oxford shoes by 5.11 Tactical. They won’t disappoint.
