As a multi-thousand mile hiker/packer, some first aid is absolutely at the top. The variety will be based on past experiences, but antibiotic salve, allergic med, blister control, etc. Also, some repair/sewing capability. Also, some versatile tool like a Gerber MultiTool. Also, some cordage including extra shoelaces. Also, some insect repellant. Also, a whistle, tweezer, and spare eyeglasses. I also carry at least one adjustable strap for a multitude of OMG Murphy contingencies.]]></description>
