Uncharted Supply | SEVENTY2 Survival System

November 2, 2024 by Erik Meisner Leave a Comment

SEVENTY2

“Designed by experts, loved by critics. The SEVENTY2 Survival System is the world’s best 72-hour Survival Kit.”

The first 72 hours of an emergency or crisis are the most critical. How you react and how you’re equipped could mean the difference between life and death. Uncharted Supply has made it simple to be prepared for the worst-case scenario. By working with First Responders, Doctors, Special Operations Soldiers, Mountain Guides, and other experts, the SEVENTY2 Survival System is one of the best 72-hour Survival Backpacks in the world. Priced at $389 $259 you’ll be hard-pressed to find a more complete kit anywhere on the market.

Made from a tough waterproof 600D tarpaulin, the SEVENTY2  keeps the elements off your gear. The roll-top pack is so waterproof and airtight, that it could be used as a flotation device should that scenario ever play out. The bag features padded contoured shoulder straps and a functional waist strap with two waterproof pockets suitable for small electronics or a wallet. Along with several options to attach additional gear. Inside you’ll find a slick insert that organizes all the gear in easy-to-read pouches. The insert includes shoulder straps allowing the waterproof shell to be worn by another person or as a storage device.

Although longer than I typically prefer, the video below shows everything included in the SEVENTY2. And since it’s a lot of stuff, it ended up over 20 minutes long. So grab a drink and settle in. You need to see what’s inside and how these items could save your life.

SEVENTY2 Video Walk-Through:

“Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. That’s the mission we live as a community of adventurers and philanthropists. As we’ve traveled, we’ve seen there is beauty in the world, but it’s not always safe. Our mission is to prepare people for any adventure, big or small, so they can stay safe and keep exploring.” ~unchartedsupplyco.com

SEVENTY2 Specs:

  • Construction: Made of durable and waterproof 600D tarpaulin
  • Weight: 11 lb. total carry weight with insert
  • Capacity: 26L storage inside shell
  • Dimensions: 18” x 12” x 6”
  • MSRP: $399 $259

Final Thoughts:

The SEVENTY2 Survival System from Uncharted Supply is a great all-in-one bug-out bag in my opinion. Not much else is needed for someone to endure the first few days of a crisis or survival situation. I kept the SEVENTY2 in our FJ Cruiser which was our adventure vehicle for the past 3 years. But now that we’ve sold that vehicle in favor of an airplane, carrying it for our aviation adventures makes even more sense. Where the 72 hours after a forced landing could be a life or death situation.
